2014 Tico Warbirds Airshow

Recently went to one of my favorite places on earth: an air show! The Valiant Air Command held their 37th annual show at an airport by where I live. This is a selection of the images I captured walking around at this very well organized and professional event. I shot these photos with a 7D with a 70-210 f4 FD lens, circa 1970, adapted to EOS mount. The fast moving targets gave me some fantastic manual focus practice!

I also brought along the Pentax 645N for some medium format photography with the lady. I think the TMAX B&W film added nice dimension and fit the subject matter perfectly. You can actually see the settings I used on the edge of the frames.
